Matt has been active his entire life, competing in soccer, wrestling, football, and later track and field before discovering bodybuilding in college. What started as becoming a “gym guy” quickly evolved into a deep passion for the sport and a respect for the discipline it demands. Surrounded by strong mentors early on, Matt learned the value of great coaching and made it his mission to pass that forward.

After becoming a father, Matt’s commitment to bodybuilding and coaching intensified. He hired his first coach in 2017 and competed shortly after, fully immersing himself in the process. Today, he is over 15 shows deep, with experience across NPC and NGA competitions, multiple national-level stages, and three appearances as an IFBB Pro. That full-spectrum experience allows him to guide clients intelligently and efficiently.

Matt began his coaching career with a Utah-based team, working with lifestyle clients and beginner to intermediate competitors. In early 2021, he and his wife, Becca, founded Elevated Physiques, building a culture centered on honesty, standards, and sustainable results. They are excited to bring that philosophy into Bair Aesthetics and contribute to the continued growth of the team.

Outside of coaching, Matt is a proud husband to Becca and father to their son, Hendrix.
